'Out of Checklist' (original title 'Jen tak mimochodem') is the name of the feature film based on the original screenplay by Roman Němec. It's the story of twelve-year-old David - a hyper-rational, highly intelligent boy who needs to have everything organized, needs to feel like he's always in control, hates chaos and takes the weight of any unresolved problem very hard. When he finds himself in a stressful situation, he tends to solve it to restore balance, but of course in his own way. What happens when his weekend plans are unexpectedly and completely radically disrupted?
The film is currently in production and is expected to be released in February 2026.
Synopsis
It's finally Friday. Even-numbered weekend. That means a weekend with dad. I like weekends with my dad, even though he's weird and still thinks at thirty-five he'll break through as a pop-rock star. At least I have someone to go to. It's going to be a great weekend. Maybe. Maybe not, because with Dad things often go wrong.
But I have this weekend under control.
